The Shifting Food Norms webinar series features candid conversations with leading behavioral scientists, researchers, and plant-forward food system leaders about how to shift, change, and advocate for better, healthier food systems. Because more than half of all meals are eaten outside the home — in dining halls, hospitals, stadiums, coffee shops, and cafeterias — the people who plan those menus are some of the most powerful (and most overlooked) changemakers in food.
Each episode digs into the questions that matter: What actually shifts eating behavior? How does a strategy like defaults that worked in a study take hold in a dining hall or hospital kitchen? And what do climate, health, and culture have to do with what lands on the tray?
Since its launch in 2025, the series has reached thousands of advocates and food service leaders across the globe, featuring guests such as nudge theory pioneer Cass Sunstein, behavioral scientist Dr. Sophie Attwood, and food justice scholar Rev. Dr. Christopher Carter.
