Through the work of the Better Food Foundation along with our volunteers, ambassadors, and partner organizations, more than 500 institutions, businesses, and organizations now use Plant-Based by Default strategies in their foodservice settings, advancing a climate-smart, plant-centered food system.
To achieve scale, we’ve worked with partners, volunteers, and more than 40 advocacy groups to help these institutions adopt Plant-Based by Default as part of their own practices for healthy, accessible, and climate-friendly food. We work with partners and advocates to implement this powerful strategy in the way that best fits their organizations’ and communities’ culture.
The following list of adoptions reflects the work of the Plant-Based Defaults NGO Network to shift diets and make plant-forward food the norm.
The key describes the type of plant-based nudge used and the partner nonprofit organizations involved in the work.
