​California is leading the country in holding its businesses accountable for Scope 3 emissions and, as institutions analyze their supply chains, many are coming to the same conclusion: Food (animal products in particular) is one of the biggest carbon “hot spots.” This is actually good news, because solutions already exist that can help institutions of any size radically decarbonize their food supply cheaply and without sacrificing taste or variety.
