Dee Dee is an experienced corporate lawyer who opened her law firm in 2019. In 2021, she was recognized on The National Black Lawyers Top 100 list, Austin Monthly’s Top Attorneys list, and the Austin Black Business Journal’s Best of Black Austin Lawyers list. Dee Dee received her BSBA in Accounting and International Business from Washington University in St. Louis in 2004 and her JD from Harvard Law School in 2011. She has professional experience working at Credit Suisse, Ernst & Young, Jones Day, and Kirkland & Ellis and as an in-house general counsel. She’s licensed to practice in Texas and New York, and is a New York State licensed CPA.

Dee Dee has dedicated significant personal and professional time to charitable causes, including co-founding the Damien Dixon Memorial Piano Scholarship at Westminster Choir College and performing hundreds of hours of pro bono legal services. Dee Dee is a practicing Jew who has followed a plant-based diet for over 25 years and sees a special relationship between people, the earth, spirituality, and food. She believes that dietary changes meaningfully contribute to combating climate change and that kindness and compassion towards all living things are essential to societal advancement. Dee Dee lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and 5 year-old twins.
